Cheltenham International Film Festival
My role
As Head of Digital and Communications for the 2025 Cheltenham International Film Festival (CIFF), I oversaw the festival’s digital presence and technical operations.
I organized the digital distribution of all films from international partners, ensured all local venues had the correct technical specifications for the screenings, and built the festival’s digital programme into the official website. Beyond tech and digital, I played a hands-on role in the general execution and smooth operation of the festival.

Generating organic attention
Driving measurable engagement was a core objective. I produced and edited the official festival trailer. More importantly, I identified a high-leverage growth opportunity during an interview I edited featuring Terry Gilliam. By pitching and securing distribution on the official Monty Python YouTube channel, the content generated over 30,000 organic views, driving a massive surge of direct interest back to the festival.

Managing events

I also oversaw the technical and logistical execution of specialized festival events, most notably a Shaun the Sheep screening and creative workshop. By collaborating closely with the Aardman creative team and local educators, I managed the technical preparation and on-the-day delivery, ensuring a seamless and inspiring educational experience for the attending students.
